Hello Seawolves!
The Graduate Career Association (GCA) is looking for dedicated graduate students to join the executive board. The GCA is a student run club focused on helping SBU graduate students explore and prepare for their career options after graduate school. We welcome the participation of students from all fields of study. It is a great way to gain leadership experience and your involvement presents plenty of exclusive networking opportunities as a member of the board. 

The openings and duties associated with those positions are listed below:
i) Treasurer: Manage GCA funds and process paperwork for reimbursements. A great position that will exhibit the following skills in your CV: attention to detail, overall sense of responsibility, ability to work in team, and budget/funds management.
ii) Secretary: Schedule meetings, write-up meeting minutes, book venues for events, maintain email list and other miscellaneous duties. This is an excellent position to showcase multitasking and team player skills in your CV.
 iii) Blog writer: Maintain the GCA blog, reporting on events we've organized. A great opportunity for anyone interested in writing or communication experience for their CV.
