The University of California has opened a postdoctoral position for candidates who have had research experience in virology, molecular biology, or immunology and have obtained a Ph.D. and/or M.D. The research undertaken involves studies of HIV infection, innate immunity, stem cell biology and vaccine development. Candidate will get experience in many phases of HIV pathogenesis, treatment, and cure. It is a model for studying many aspects of infection by viruses. The position is in the Laboratory for Tumor and AIDS Virus Research at the University of California, San Francisco.
