Dr. Annie Laurie W. Shroyer (PhD, MSHA): Professor of Surgery, Vice Chair for Research and Assistant Dean for Educational Research at Stony Brook University. Dr. A. Shroyer is a leading expert in clinical trial development and management and her primary focus being improving patient care from assessment of new biomarkers and diagnostics to data-driven analysis that guides clinical decisions.
Dr. Kenneth R. Shroyer (MD,PhD): Marvin Kuschner Professor and Chair Department of Pathology, Stony Brook University. Dr. K. Shroyer’s is an expert in gynecologic oncology. He pioneered novel methods in cytological and histological classification of tumors. Having pioneered several groundbreaking molecular diagnostic markers and protocols his lab currently focuses on developing prognostic cancer markers.
Dr. Janos G. Hajagos (PhD): Associate Director of Data and Computation of the Health Sciences Division of Applied Informatics at Stony Brook University. Dr. Hajagos specializes in machine learning approaches to quantify patterns of health care utilization. Additionally Dr. Hajagos has been developing tools to adapt and utilize the UMLS to find novel links between basic science researchers and clinicians.
